Script preventing SSL lock to display

Hello

When one first visits the home site the green lock doesn't display but when I go to another page (all other pages the green SSL lock displays!) and come go back to home, it then displays the green SSL lock!

So I took a look by viewing the source code and then found the script that is causing the issue!

I didn't wan to paste the code here so it is on the attached file.

  • Two things.

First, that code isn't part of CumulusClips. We are going to have a hard time debugging customizations you have made to the script.

Second, analyzing the code you posted, it doesn't appear like it would cause any problems. Are there any errors getting thrown in the browser's console?
  • Is a good thing that is not part of CumulusClips!

I only have an adsense code and two banners and the images are coming from the same domain

What's in the image that is what the chrome console displays!

    This is he site cotorrea.com
  • Do I have to add some sore of command to .htaccess since it was http and now https?
  • I was able to visit https://cotorrea.com and get the green lock icon. It worked perfectly. I even clicked to a video, and then on the logo to take me back to the homepage. All pages worked correctly and displayed the green SSL lock.
  • Did you get the green SSL lock as soon as the website loaded?
If you did, any idea why it happens at my end (That i don't get the green ssl lock as soon as the site loads for the first time?
  • Worked for me every time, including the first. Make sure you use "https" in your links. If not, the site will load without the green lock.
  • When you say links to mean the url? Because it wasn't showing when I was using their image url, that is why i have to put them on my site and then the green lock displayed! so same goes with the url? But all of my links are with out the https (all link to a none https url and the green lock display! I wonder!
  • In the root of your cumulus clips installation folder, edit .htaccess

    change this:

    RewriteEngine On

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

    to this:

    RewriteEngine On

    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
    RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
