everything working but mobile is error out

edited June 2013 in Bugs and Errors
mobile seems to be not created due to audio encoding error as follows
Stream #0:0(eng): Video: h264, yuv420p, 480x360, q=-1--1, 600 kb/s, 90k tbn, 29.97 tbc
Stream #0:1(eng): Audio: none, 44100 Hz, 2 channels, flt, 96 kb/s
Stream mapping:
Stream #0:1 -> #0:0 (vc1 -> libx264)
Stream #0:0 -> #0:1 (wmav2 -> aac)
Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:1 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

mabye something missing somewhere on server?

  • This is an FFMPEG error. Can you post the mobile encoding command found in the Admin panel -> Settings -> Video
  • here it is
    -s 480x360 -vb 600k -ac 2 -ab 96k -ar 44100 -f mp4
  • Your command seems fine. My guess is that the version of FFMPEG installed on your server doesn't like one of the parameters passed. This is a common problem. You can try trial and error.

    Try removing each parameter and it's value (except for the -s & -f) from the mobile command one by one to find which is the one causing the problem. Every time you remove one upload a video and see if it works. Continue until you arrive at a point where it works. When you find it, simply revert your mobile command back to it's original state minus the faulty command.

    Typical cases are '-vb' instead of '-b' or '-b:v', etc.
  • ok everything working now, problem was libraries not loading correctly my host fixed issue now all working flawless thanks...
