Error Uploading A file

Errors were encountered during the processing of your file, and it cannot be uploaded at this time. We apologize for this inconvenience.

So when i try to upload a file of any "SIZE" (500mb) i get the attached error. After reviewing my php.ini and everything else nothing has changed from the default.

i can upload the file via FTP and it processes fine. I can upload Smaller files via browse upload option without any problem.

I DID just run updates on the server itself. Looking for some kind of ideas on this one.... .

  • Go to Admin Panel -> Dashboard -> System Logs and purge the logs.

Then go to Admin Panel -> Settings -> Video -> Log Encoding and set this to "enabled"

Next try your upload again. After a few minutes go back to the logs page and attach the contents of the two log files here.
  • First place i went. I got no logs there. Now if I uploaded a file and used the import feature it does encode the video. I thought it was the permissions on the ffmpg also which is why indid this.
  • confirmed no logs are created when using the upload UI
  • Doing some digging i did find this in the apache logs.

  • who would have thought the email goes into the spam folder has some data. There was an HTTP FILE POST error (Error code #3). -- Problem is the forum reports this as an execution issue. i already confirmed that was high.
  • Error code 3 means the file was partially uploaded. Maybe a bad connection, dropped packets, corrupt upload.
  • So firewall?
  • If you have one in place, then yes quite possibly.
  • Ok went through everything and no affect. Is there a way in the code to prevent the error and force a longer delay?

Not in the script, because this is the connection between your browser and the server during the upload process that is the issue here.

What is your "max_input_time" in your PHP ini?

What is the current timeout for Apache (not PHP)? Specifically the "TimeOut" and "KeepAliveTimeout" values.

Another cause for the PHP Upload Error #3 is insufficient space in the upload temp directory. Make sure that is not your case.
