Apache2 address duplication

When I enter
http://cc/cc-core/controllers/videos.php I get an error as the address that pops up is
http://cc/cc-core/controllers/HOST/cc/cc-core/controllers/videos.php.
I am pretty sure this is an appache2 config issue but I cannot figure this one out.
I am running Kubuntu 17.10 apache2. The install area is //var/www/html/cc.
Please advise

  • What is the error you get? Do you see anything in the Apache error log?
  • Here are several fail messages:
[Wed Apr 18 08:57:06.828789 2018] [php7:error] [pid 9204] [client 192.168.12.147:59690] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required '/var/www/html/cb/admin_area/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in Unknown on line 0
    [Wed Apr 18 09:05:12.327547 2018] [mpm_prefork:notice] [pid 9199] AH00169: caught SIGTERM, shutting down
PHP Warning: Module 'zip' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

It appears the include path may be incorrect. What say you?

  • So a few things,

First videos.php isnt a valid url for the script. That was renamed to /browse/.
Second you shouldnt access the site directly via the php file names but rather the route names, like my previous point for example.
Third the address that you say that popped up didnt evaulate the HOST constant. That could be a PHP error early in the script that didnt allow PHP to evaluate that value or maybe PHP isnt enabled in your vhost.
Fourth those errors in your log are not from this script.

Verify you have mod_rewrite and PHP enabled in your Apache config. Also that AllowOverride is set to all for the vhost. Also ensure that the hidden .htaccess file is located at the root of the script.

Verify those things first and let us know what you find.
