meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"

I'm running CC on a domain where GPO is setting Microsoft Internet Explorer Compatibility mode. This in turn is preventing CC from displaying properly on IE browsers and also prevents videos from being able to be played.

In my environment I have been able to mitigate this by adding the following meta tag to the various layouts. (default, full, and account)

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />

Perhaps it's worth considering adding this tag by default in your themes!?

  • Can you sign up on for me so that I can get your email?
  • I understand what you're saying. By changing the browser mode the styling is thrown off on IE. When that theme was QA'd it was tested in IE standards mode which is the default for IE.

    I try to reproduce it.
  • This has been added in our latest release v2.2.
